1. Who we are

Print Pass (“we,” “us”) is a subsidiary of Support Nerds Inc., a company registered at Chester Springs, PA, operating the website print-pass.com and providing all-inclusive printing subscription services in the United States. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@print-pass.com or (844) 990-0006.

2. Information we collect

In brief: we collect what we need to run your subscription — your contact and delivery details, your payment method (held by our payment processor, not us), and how your printer is doing so we can send ink before you run out.

Information you give us

  • Account & contact details — name, email address, phone number, and delivery address when you request a quote or subscribe.
  • Payment information — collected and stored by our payment processor (WooPayments, Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Support communications — what you tell us by phone, email, contact form, or chat, so we can resolve your issue and improve our service.
  • Business details — company name, size, and printing volume if you request a business quote.

Information collected automatically

  • Website usage — pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location (from IP address), via cookies and analytics (see Section 6).
  • Printer usage data — described fully in Section 3, because we think you deserve more than a bullet point on this.

3. Printer usage data — what your printer tells us

In brief: your printer reports its ink levels and page counts to us. That’s how ink shows up before you run out. It does not send us the content of what you print — ever.

To deliver the core of our service — ink that arrives before you need it, and support that can diagnose problems remotely — your Print Pass printer shares service data with us when connected to the internet:

  • Ink and supply levels, so replacements ship automatically at the right time.
  • Page counts, so we can confirm your plan fits your usage and suggest a better tier if you regularly print more (we don’t charge surprise overage fees; we use this to resize your plan with you).
  • Device status and error codes, so support can troubleshoot remotely and dispatch repairs or replacements.

What we do not collect: the content of your documents. We do not receive, store, or analyze what you print — no document contents, file names, or images.

4. How we use your information

  • To provide the service: deliver and set up your printer, ship ink, process payments, and provide support and repairs.
  • To manage your account: billing, receipts, service notifications, and plan-fit suggestions.
  • To improve Print Pass: understanding how plans are used and where the service falls short.
  • To market our services: sending offers and updates if you’ve opted in — every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we don’t need marketing consent to run your subscription.
  • To meet legal obligations: tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Who we share it with

In brief: only the companies that help us run the service — delivery, payments, support tools — and only what they need to do their job. No selling your data.

6. Cookies & analytics

In brief: we use cookies to keep the site working, understand what’s useful, and measure our ads. You can control them in your browser or via our cookie banner.

  • Essential cookies — required for the site and quote flow to function.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages and tools (like our cost calculator) people find useful. (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Advertising cookies — measure whether our ads led you here. [e.g., Google Ads conversion tags]

You can manage cookies through our cookie banner , your browser settings, and industry opt-outs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info). Our website recognizes and processes valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as requests to opt out of applicable data sharing or targeted advertising for California residents, where required by applicable law.

7. Your privacy rights

In brief: you can ask what we have about you, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. Ask by email or phone; we don’t treat you differently for exercising your rights

Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you and receive a portable copy.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to exceptions (e.g., records we must keep for tax or an active subscription’s operation).
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined by law.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any right, email privacy@print-pass.com or call (844) 990-0006 (Mon–Fri 7:00am–4:00pm PST). We will verify your identity, respond within the time required by your state’s law (typically 45 days), and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline a request, we’ll explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision.

8. How long we keep data

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and billing records for the life of your subscription plus the period required for tax and accounting as required by law; support communications for 3 years; printer service data for the life of the device’s enrollment; and marketing preferences until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

9. How we protect it

We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls limiting who at Print Pass can view customer data, reputable processors for payments, and vendor agreements that require our partners to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Children's privacy

Print Pass is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our student plans are intended for college students and for parents purchasing on behalf of their families. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect. We won’t reduce your rights under this policy without telling you plainly first — no quiet edits.
